Blended Learning Format
(online + in-person)
Combines online training with a short in-person skills session.
Allow 1-3 hours for online portion and start the course at least 48 hrs prior to attending the in-person skills session.
In-person skills portion must be completed within 90 days.
Instructor-Led Format
All work is done in the classroom.
Provided class materials to each student: 1 CPR face shield -or- 1 CPR face mask one-way valve, 1 pair latex-free gloves, 1 gauze roll, and two 4"x4" sterile pads.
Students also distributed 1 free box of Narcan (naloxone) through the TX Targeted Opioid Response (TTOR) public health initiative.
Adult, Child & Baby First Aid/CPR/AED
incorporates the latest science and teaches the individual layperson to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies including: bleeding emergencies, responding to opioid overdoses and giving naloxone, and how to respond to breathing, choking, and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age.

Opioid Overdose Emergencies
you'll learn to recognize the signs & symptoms of an opioid overdose, the appropriate care to provide based on the person's breathing & level of responsiveness, and how to give naloxone using several different products to reverse the effects of an overdose (plus receive a free box of Narcan).

Registration Terms & Conditions
Registration will not be accepted in person the day of class. All classes require prior payment in full to reserve spot & arrange for class materials.
Hyperlinks to access the online training will be available at registration in your confirmation email.
Proof of Online Completion: Required day of to attend the in-person training (accepted via email, hardcopy, snapshot, or course login).
Email: Each registrant must provide a unique email address for course-related information.(families cannot all use the same email, everyone must have their own).
Children under age 11 are not permitted in the training facility during classes (nursing mothers with infants are the exception).
Comfortable Clothing: Dress comfortably as skills are performed on the floor. Message in advance if you have medical restrictions.~
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT (classes require a minimum of 2 students): Students will be provided no less than 1 day notice and will be offered additional class options.
No transfers granted within 2 days prior to class. Only 1 paid transfer per student. Once a transfer has been completed, no refunds may be granted.
Once a class begins, there will be no transfers or refunds.
Refunds will be granted to those who cancel 7 days prior to the class. If notice is given 4 days or more prior to class, you may transfer to another class. A $30 fee incurred with class transfer request submitted 3 days prior.
LATE POLICY: You will not be allowed to attend if you are more than 15 minutes late and will be required to register with full payment for another class.
Private Group Training: A final Training Agreement will be provided once date & time have been confirmed. If for any reason Deep in the Heart CPR cannot accommodate your request, an immediate refund will be processed.
Weather Cancellation Policy: Please be advised that we follow local school closings and county government offices/libraries as a guideline for cancellations. If a class is held and students do not attend, registration is lost & a new class registration will be required. All cancellation/transfer fees remain in effect.
